Tyler Crosby is a NYC/NJ based actor, director, deviser, and podcaster.
As an artist and creator, he values collaboration, experimentation, and forging new things into existence.
He started his journey at age 14 by attending the Somerset County Vo-Tech’s Acting Program, a four year conservatory style program for high schoolers in NJ. He then attended Pace University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Acting, in the International Theater Ensemble program (one of the first undergraduate programs in America to specialize in devised theater training).
Since completing undergrad, Tyler has taken on various projects in the areas that interest him. He has acted in professional productions in New York, New Jersey, Texas, and Arkansas. He has directed or co-directed three short films that have been screened at film festivals around the globe. And he has devised works of original theatre that have been presented in small rooms all across NYC.
Tyler created and co-hosts the weekly podcast Fountains of ‘Splain, which takes a deep dive into every single song by the band Fountains of Wayne. He also hosts the monthly any-discipline performance series/art party Kill ‘Em With Kindness at Super Secret Arts in Brooklyn.
